FedCon 18 (XVIII) 2009 - The golden Future

Hello there,

yesterday, supertinix, Commander Lemmy and I visited the famous Federation Convention held in Bonn, Germany.

It was a really exciting event and we enjoyed to see the dressed up people, talking to other Sci-Fi-Fans and of course, the speeches of our Series-Heroes.
Robert Picardos appearance was stunning. He knows how to keep the audience elated. Beside his speech and the Fan-Interviews he sang an own funny Version of La Donna é Mobile and “You are my Sunshine“, which appeared in one of the romantic scenes in Star Trek Voyager.

Next in line was Summer Glau. Well known for playing roles in a lot of popular series like Firefly (River Tam), 4400 as Tess Doerner and of course Terminator S.C.C as Cameron Phillips. Her appearance was accompanied with a flue, therefor she wasn’t in a good temper.  She seems to be a bit shy, but actually, she is an actress, so… maybe she just played the shy girl :) Who knows. Somehow, she appeared to be lost on the huge panel. But she was quite cute :)

After Summer Glau, the two most brilliant Star Trek bad boys Jeffrey Combs (Weyoun) and Marc Alaimo (Gul Dukat) enter the Panel. The very first moments were really confusing, because I didn’t realize, that the man, who dropped his pants and knee down in front of Marc Alaimo was Jeffrey Combs.  Seeing him with a mustache was so confusing. :) Anyway… they didn’t sing, but they had a great performance together.
While Marc and Jeffrey were going to leave, Mark B. Lee introduced Nana Visitor. It seems that Jeffrey Combs really loves to see Nana again, he couldn’t stop kissing her  and left  happy the Panel. Nana Visitor was really congenial. She was so frankly and funny.

Yesterday night, I promised you to upload my collection of taken photos.  So, here we go: Enjoy the FedCon 18-Gallery

On the Mainbridge, Robert Picardo sang partially the well known song “You are my Sunshine“, which he performed with Seven of Nine in the Cargobay.
